La Piaggia is located between Altopascio and Montecarlo in front of Valdinievole Valley. Peasant culture references can be found starting since 1800. Evidences show the common use of the large wood-burning oven for baking bread by local farmers.

Agricolture was carried out with great respect for nature, and in the Antico Casale Toscano (Old Tuscan Famhouse) this has been preserved to the present day in a pristine environment. Our history begins in 2000 with the purchase of this property. Later started the farm and farm related activities. The house is runned by the family and has been renovated, preserving the originality and appeareance that had in the origins.

On a large surface of 6 hectares is suitable to spend a relaxing holiday, in a strategic position to reach the most beautiful places in Tuscany. Eight beds, swimming pool, barbecue, table tennis, wine and food tasting, satellite TV, washing machine, dish-washer and WI-FI available!

The hillside location and the particularmicroclimatic conditions guarantee the quality of our products, which are processednaturally without pesicides and without chemicals. Our initiatives are always directed to the enhancement of our products in order to rediscover the tradition of peasant culture.

We also have a welcoming flat that can accommodate up to 8 people.
